my birthday lasted 5 days

I had a pretty awesometastic birthday so far. I mean, heck, it lasted FIVE WHOLE DAYS, what could rock my socks more? For detailed excitement, click the more link!

PreBirthday: Dinner at the Persian House with Travis, Katling & Justin, Lori & Emily and Justin’s roomate. Followed by mini-golfing excellence, where I made a few hole-in-ones and did victory dances. I also lost the most awfully, with an absurd amount of points. It was great. :D

Birthday: Stuck at school all day, but I did get a lovely birthday song from Kat & Lori (and later from Travis, awww) and a birthday call from Reza and happy birthday chats from Mommy. Rather than working, I sat in the Einstein’s patio eating a muffin and reading Complications, then got picked up by Travis at the end of the day. HE GOT ME A NEW DRIZZT BOOK!!!!!!!!!!! It’s awesome, I’m trying to make it last as long as possible by just reading a bit at a time. Hehehe. We ate Persian Room leftovers and watched Lilo & Stitch for a bit.
Friday: Worked my butt off, then spent the night fighting crime in City of Heroes.

Saturday: Slept in late, had a yummy breakfast, almost went to the zoo and then saw Fearless. Followed it up with the yummy glory of sonic cheesburgers and watching the first XMen movie. And cuddling Travis. Awwwww.

Sunday: The PLAN was to dress nice, so I could take pics with the little mom, at her request, and then have patty melts & cake at mom’s. However, much trickery was involved between Mr. Travis and the Little Mom. In reality, patty melts were never intended! But, she did bake me a german chocolate cake, and it was awesome. She gave me an elaborate story of ruining the patty melts with broken glass, but in fact it was all a ruse to take me out to eat. I requested Chili’s, and we ended up at Sapporo’s. Tricky fish, tricky fish. It was, of course, their evil plan to make my birthday meal be Teppanyaki. It was yummy and the chef was funny. I burned my lip on my fork like a total goober and have an awesome stripe of burn inside my lip, but the steak was so steaky-goodness. Mmmmmmmm!

Reza, being a sneaky little brother, tried to trump last year’s birthday gift by getting me the newest handheld - an adorable pink DS Lite. He also got me WORMS: Open Warfare which is hilarious, and me & Travis can play against each other. We also drew obscene picture-messages in PictoChat. Thankyou, Penny Arcade, you’ve taught us well. Mommy bought me this awesome smelling orange-ginger stuff in every form known to man - sugar scrub, liquid soap, lotion, spray and even a candle! She also got me a lenscrafters gift certificate, so now I have to get new glasses. Tricky moms.

Of course, the Ultimate Gift is still in the mail - a tshirt specifically made for me by Travis. I cannot stand the wait! Why, oh god why, did I tell him not to use express shipping??!?! I WANT MY SHIRT NOW.

In closing, I’m spoiled rotten and should be beaten. Thankyou everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!
